Meet Debra

The ARCHITECT of ALIGNMENT

Debra helps women lead, create, and evolve in ways that feel deeply aligned—and powerfully their own.

“Power is lasting when it’s felt — not forced.”

Before Debra became a trusted advisor to today’s most visionary women, she helped build some of the world’s most iconic companies—from Microsoft to Meta. She led billion-dollar businesses, scaled global teams, and shaped cultures of innovation, belonging, and beauty.

Now, she works with founders, creatives, and executives at inflection points—where success is evolving. It’s no longer just about what they achieve, but how they do it, who they do it with, and what it costs to win.

The Journey: From Building Empires to Building Women Leaders

Early Career

The Corporate Climb

Debra built her career inside some of the world’s most influential companies—Accenture, Arnold Worldwide, McCann Erickson, Microsoft, and eventually Meta—leading global teams, launching new markets, and shaping billion-dollar businesses.

These were high-velocity, high-stakes rooms. Debra learned exactly what it took to succeed inside them. It was her early education in how systems shape us—and what it requires to move through them with power and precision.

Mid-Career

The Awakening

While working in tech, Debra earned her master’s at Harvard. It shifted everything.

Inside those classrooms, she studied what most corporate cultures overlook: the emotional, human, and invisible forces that shape how people lead—and who gets to. Debra brought those insights back into her work, and everything changed. The meetings. The decisions. The teams. The outcomes.

It was her first glimpse into the power of integration—where difference drives innovation, and strategy and sensitivity sharpen each other rather than compete.

Transition

The Pivot

Debra moved beyond corporate titles to build something more dimensional—an advisory practice that honored people as much as product.

The work began with strategy, but rarely stayed there. As she partnered with visionary women to grow their companies, they also evolved how they led. How they worked. What they wanted next.

This way of working didn’t just feel better—it performed better. Because success isn’t only what you build. It’s how you feel while building it—and who you become along the way.

Present

The Integration

Today, Debra guides visionary women shaping the future of industries and culture—through private advisory, group experiences, and a growing collective.

At the center is The Overlap—a method and philosophy rooted in this belief: the greatest meaning and impact emerge when you integrate who you are with what you do.

Debra is building a leadership lifestyle brand to bring that to life—through essays, salons, retreats, residencies, and new expressions of community.

The Deeper Story: What Shaped Her Runs Deeper

The family dynamics that taught Debra to code-switch—and eventually, to integrate

Like many of us, Debra was shaped by the systems she worked in—and the family she came from.

Her parents were opposites: her father, a sharp-minded executive who prized performance, precision, and progress; her mother, a nurse’s aid and union leader who led with empathy, aesthetics, and care.

To be close to each, Debra learned early to move between worlds — adapting to whichever side of herself was needed most. At work, that meant leading with structure and strength. At home, it meant attunement and grace.

For years, she believed she had to choose. Until she realized the truth: the best work — and the most meaningful life — come when we lead from the full spectrum of who we are, not just the version that was rewarded.

That integration became her life’s work: proving that alignment isn’t found — it’s designed.

Where It Comes Together

because how you live Shapes How You Lead

Debra lives full-time in the Hamptons, with her husband, Michael, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Hank—brilliant, intuitive, and a little reluctant to follow anyone’s lead. Debra can relate.

After years of building from boardrooms and airports, Debra has come to believe that how we live—quietly, daily—matters just as much as what we build.

This work, this way of being — it's not just about achievement.

It's about integration.

It's about beauty, longevity, and leadership moving as one.

Here, aspiration becomes architecture. Alignment takes form.
